What is Sticky Chai?
The Quick and Delicious Way to Enjoy Chai Lattes
Chai lattes are a delicious and comforting beverage enjoyed by many, but the traditional method of making them can be time-consuming. That's where sticky chai comes in.
Unlike regular chai, sticky chai uses a unique method to infuse the spices into the honey, which allows for a faster brewing time without sacrificing any of the flavours.
The result is a delicious, rich and creamy chai latte that can be enjoyed in just a couple of minutes. In this blog post, we'll take a closer look at what sticky chai is, how it's made, and why it's becoming so popular among tea and coffee lovers alike.
But what exactly is sticky chai?
When The Organic Tea Project partnered with a coffee brand, they were faced with the challenge of creating a chai that could be made quickly and still have the same strength as coffee.
After experimenting with different methods, we found a way to infuse the spices into honey to speed up the extraction process. This resulted in a concentrated beautiful sticky leave and spices that can be easily mixed with milk to make a perfect chai latte in just two minutes.
Sticky chai is essentially a pre-made concentrate of chai spices infused in honey, and whole leaf tea that can be mixed with milk to make a delicious and authentic chai latte in no time.
The term "sticky" refers to the thick and concentrated nature of the honey-infused chai spices that stick to the spoon and the cup.
Not only is sticky chai quick and easy to make, but it also has a unique and complex flavour profile. The honey infusion brings a natural sweetness and richness to the chai, while the roasted spices add a deep and warming flavour.
Sticky chai is also a versatile drink that can be enjoyed hot or cold, and can be customised to your liking.
You can add more or less milk depending on how strong you like your chai, or even add a shot of espresso for a dirty chai latte.
