When you open a box of tea from The Organic Tea Project, you’re getting more than a delicious brew. Every layer of our packaging has been designed to be eco-friendly, recyclable, and as low impact as possible — without ever compromising freshness or flavour.

Certified organic tea with traceability

All of our teas come from eight certified Fairtrade organic tea gardens in India, where every blend is grown and picked under ethical and sustainable conditions. Inside the box, you’ll find:

• Brewing tips to help you get the best flavour from whole leaf tea

• A QR code for full traceability, showing exactly where your tea was grown

• A thank-you discount code — because loyalty should be rewarded with more tea

Our approach to sustainable packaging

We’ve carefully chosen materials to reduce waste while protecting what’s inside:

• Cardboard boxes: recyclable and printed with water based inks.

• Plant-based pyramid tea bags: designed to cradle whole leaves while avoiding microplastics

• Compostable inner pouch: lets the aroma through so you can smell your tea before you brew

This means every sip supports a system that’s better for both people and the planet.
